CORS has caused me an incredible amount of headache this semester so far. it's the system which makes us bid for what we want to study, and is totally horrid for people who are not paying 100% attention to the system updates due to other concerns. like me, for example. cos i had to go for that 8 tooth extraction, plus the biopsy. ive just been cheated of my entire prog acct points - . - i refuse to talk abt it anymore.

on a happier note, my oral situation is improving! after so many days of foodless-ness, i started slow with porridge and have finally progressed back to rice! ahhh i was famished! but i have an appt with the dentist again tmw and i think they are removing the many stitches in my mouth. after they put the braces on, i might revert to being unable to eat again : (

geoff is back from OBS! rite of manhood! rofl. i miss geraldine who is at camp today. i miss her noises, her crazy personality and her hobby which is disturbing me. i miss niece!! joanne is back from bangkok! (why she refers to it as BKK i have no idea) ok that ends my random updates.

hey look! ive finally managed to gather enough strength to come online for awhile.. i'll not post pics of how i looked like after the OP cos they are seriously terrible. it looks like i DIED. - . - i'll just show u the teeth ha.. sch is starting on monday(amanda's bday!!) and im still weak cos i havent eaten for 2 whole days! and i still dont know when im gg to be able to.. i MISS FOOD!!!!
special thanks to my mom and gillian who spent the most time looking after me while i was semi/unconscious. and gillian again for making drinks and all for me while i cant eat! also, for asking and showing concern, thank you alan, jo, mandy, gladys and kelly : ) sorry if i left anyone out. im still not thinking too clearly! haha..

hey people im back from my first new year celebration at the relaxing place in malaysia! one of the most fun trips we've had there in some time : ) it was too bad my grandparents couldnt join us, but we still had my dad's siblings and their spouses(ie. uncles and aunties) and my cousin plus her ang moh boyfriend(?) :p we did so many fun things! pics with elaboration coming up : )
okayy.. im trying to hurry up here so i can *entertain* a certain person.. who is bugging me to quickly go back to paying attn to msn - . - anyway.. we had a BBQ on the first night! which was great cos there was an excess of lovely food. my uncle always prepares wondeful BBQs! all we have to do is to BBQ it so they can eat! rofl.. erm no pics cos i was more busy ~~eating~~ cooking all the food. hardworking eh?
right.. so on the second day.. we woke up early in the morning to drive along mudtracks(nearby) to visit the really tiny jetty! it reminded me of army days.. tall grass.. mud tracks.. hot sun.. big cars??finally we finished our little cross country excursion and parked in the middle of nowhere..
my uncle's car is like an airplane when it accelerates! he let me take it for a spin :p! it makes a mercedes' engine seem like a kitten trying to roar like a lion - . - trust me. very. powerful. engine. anyway.. we finally arrived at the jetty..
oops no.. that's the swamp NEAR the jetty.. THIS is the jetty.. with geraldine, geoff, and jonathan.. patiently teaching us how to fish..
im warning you.. patience is needed to teach my family how to fish.. cos.. the first time my mom cast out the fishing line.. she somehow managed to get a good grip on the jetty itself. the second she sorta blasted it into the water right infront of her - . - my dad's first try was even more catastrophic.. he just missed hooking poor geraldine right off the jetty and into the river!! when gayle cast her fishing rod out, THE BAIT all flew off but the line remained just where it was - . - mine wasnt much better.. i sorta lost the bait in the tree next to me but no one told me.. so i slowly reeled in a line with NO BAIT ON IT. - . - i think everyone had a wonderful time laughing at all of us trying to fish! :p
doesnt my uncle look cool and at ease trying to fish?
on the other hand.. i look totally out of place.. the fish seem to run away from my line!! sobs..

gillian wanted to try her own luck at fishing.. so she made her own little fishing rod with bait. in my opinion, a fish which got caught by her DESERVED TO DIE because it must be even more BRAINLESS than normal fishes. look... and be horrified.. how do u catch a fish with this!?
in the end.. jonathan managed to catch a little red fish! most of my relatives seemed to agree that it was a small sea bass.. maybe emily can enlighten me cos she goes fishing, i think :p see for yourselves..
that turned out to be our sole catch of the day haha.. but oh well it was all just for fun : )) so after that we went nearer to the sea for lunch!! lovely place with great food! the pier..

once again, no pics of food- and YOU KNOW WHY! cos i was busy polishing it all off! who has time to take pics of food when they are more interested in eating it all anyway!? haha right.. later that night we celebrated 2007 with champagne infront of the TV watching people celebrate back home in SG.. haha i think new year celebration parties used to be more fun.. but oh well.. HAPPY 2007 everyone!!! : ))

got my exam results awhile ago and they were ok except for MLE. that module really dragged the CAP down. : ( i guess im gonna have to work harder and do better next sem. i'll be leaving again today to celebrate new year at the holiday house(yes, again - . -) with my family. school is starting soon. my tooth surgery cum biopsy is on the 4th of jan. FLV is picking up once more. welcome back emily. stop calling me billy goat! OR my chinese name - . - shaun is evil( i just had to put that :D) mandy it's your bday soon!! ^^

i just visited the dentist for the first time in a gazillion years! the last time was in pri sch i think =x its good to have parents who are doctors! cos then every doctor in the hospital is their friend, and its very convenient to set up any appointments! heh. ANYWAY. he cleaned my teeth and informed me that im going to have *drumrolls* 8 yes, EIGHT teeth removed! sigh. i thought i didnt have a wisdom teeth problem but its not so. they were just hidden : ( so thats 4, plus 4 more for braces. after all that extracting, im going to be a toothless old granny : ((

and of course, pics from one of the longest-holidays-ive-ever-had-in-malaysia.. basically, we went from sg to our holiday home in gelang patah, to visit relatives in muar, to KL(for my siblings but i didnt want to go), back to muar, to melaka(unplanned trip by my parents and i, if you know why i went gd for you, if not, nevermind =x), to muar again, and finally back to the holiday home. just reached back this afternoon! : )
ive been teaching my brother how to ride a motorcycle there! it's paid off i must say, he is a very quick learner!good enough to pillion me, even! :Da little part of the garden...the estate is huge. - . - it even has a lovely river running through this part, and would make an ideal relaxation spot, IF you discount the gazillion mosquitoes, that is.

some houses even have ACRES of land as its garden! O.O
aren't these trees wonderful? i wish i had them in my garden..

hey guys im back! student leaders camp 06 was quite an experience! especially from the view of facilitator! : ) i think we learnt more that way heh. i wont say it was the most fun or most exciting camp ive ever been to, but it sure was fun! karen, (and zh and cheryl if u see this) thanks for everything! it was great working with you : ) my group was fun too! even though i was game master most of the time and didnt get to play with them T.T
i think the part where the organisers(shawn and co) did well was how they managed to adapt and adjust, even though the weather was like hell! how do u plan beach games and bbqs with periodic showers/downpours! headache ah.. ok i only have the pics from my hp at the moment, but karen will pass me more when i come back from malaysia(leaving now!) karen: HINT.
hmm took a wrong turn when i arrived at east coast! probably the product of no sleep the day before, plus some blurness. notice that there are trees where the sea should be- enough to tell a blind man that i was not headed in quite the right direction! - . - i havent seen this part of east coast b4! but i must say it is quite nice : )random tree roots at the beach..the DnD! brenda and her sp lol.. look at those masks! rEtRo!!food making competition! this work of art belonged to groupF i think..kent's card tower! he always spent the talks and seminars building them.. ziqi's job? knocking them down =x oops!

as ive told alan, i wont pretend that this is a good piece of work, but i decided to try writing a story as part of my own post exam activities! took me about 2 "half days" to write this, heh.. don't puke if its too lousy, but id appreciate any comments thanks! lol. erm, there is no title hah.

He struggled to keep awake, but he could barely keep his eyelids from shutting. The flickering glow from the television was the sole source of light in the cluttered room, and the scent of lavender hung in the air. Outside, a thick silence enveloped the air, so thick it was almost palpable. A light sea breeze rustled through the leaves, and those lying on the ground were swirled up, seemingly waltzing to a merry little tune of their own.

Peering out from beneath his steel-rimmed glasses, he tried, in vain, to make out the moon in the ebony night sky. A distant flash of lightning gave him cause to ponder if a storm might be brewing. Nearing forty years of age, he sported a head of unkempt obsidian hair, but chose to keep neither moustache nor beard. Oh how Clara would flip if she found out he planned to be anything other than clean-shaven, he mused. But he was aware he would do anything for her, and so he left it at that. He leaned back against the sofa, and tried to turn his attention back to the television, but a sudden thought struck him. Reaching idly for his mug of Arabic coffee to his left, his fingers grasped only thin air. Strange, he thought. He could have sworn he’d made himself a steaming hot mug of his favourite blend not too long ago.

A wet muzzle nudging his arm served as a reminder that someone was being neglected. Enough already, he chided Lumps, his 5 year old beagle- but if anything, the prodding seemed to be getting more insistent. Harsh words died on his lips as he turned to see two soulful eyes peeking at him from beneath lush, long lashes.

You miss her too, don’t you? He inquired of his loyal companion. He took the unblinking gaze as a yes, and stretched out to give Lumps a scratch behind the ears. Well, it should only be a couple more hours chum, then you can come with me to pick her up from the airport- what do you say? The furious tail wagging was a much clearer answer. Chuckling, he eased into a standing position. Time to make that mug of coffee, he thought, and strode off purposefully towards the kitchen.

She had always been the one to keep him going- even before they had fallen madly in love with each other. He had been a mere ten years of age when it happened. The sudden and unexpected demise of the one person he cared most for in the whole world. They had attributed her passing to a myriad of reasons, layered thickly in medical terminology. He couldn’t give a damn. He didn’t want to know the why- he just wanted his mummy back. The person who gave the bestest hugs. The person who tucked him in night after night. The person who made his troubles vanish when she smiled her special smile, just for him.

In school a week after his mother’s funeral, all he could think about was how peaceful she had looked, lying there in the coffin, surrounded by the throngs of mourners. She had been a gem to so many others, he noted in grim satisfaction.

An unceremonius prod in his midriff brought him back to reality. He spun around, and came face to face with a girl of minute size, grinning up at him. Then the grin vanished, replaced by a look of concern, the girl’s large doe eyes were the hue of malachite, framed by rings of curly auburn locks. Don’t be sad, she pleaded. He would come to adore that bambi-eyed look in the years to come, not that it hadn’t already caught a sufficient amount of his attention to stop his sniveling. Clara.

He plodded back to the sofa, now with a crudely-made mug grasped tightly in his hand, Lumps following closely at his heel. The mug had been a gift from his son, a not too successful product of the boy’s first pottery class, but a priceless treasure nonetheless. His eyes drifted lazily back to the television, and he took in the scene. A lone car was speeding down a winding mountain path, its headlights sweeping wide arcs as it spiraled. That’s way too fast- no way the driver is going to be able to react to any situation that might crop up. He snorted to express his disdain; he traveled on that sort of road often enough to be qualified as an authority on driving in the mountains. TV nowadays, always a bad influence on our youth, he muttered. He deduced it must be some low budget thriller that didn’t make it to the big screen. Something in the scene seemed out of place, though, and he spent the better part of a minute trying to pinpoint it. Ah there it was- there was a weird looking greenish blotch on the moon. In all his years of life he’d never heard of any phenomenon which gave rise to sickly moons. Don’t tell me they used computers to produce the moon, he thought cynically. They could at least make sure they didn’t botch the job.

This is the part where the large truck comes around the bend and smashes the car off the face of the earth. He was so bored, he tried to predict the outcome of the show. But he was disappointed. The outlandish purple mini cooper continued to speed down the rocky path, but contrary to his prediction, didn’t collide with a lorry when it approached the next bend, a particularly acute turning. Instead, in slow motion, the mini simply went straight on, crashing right through the barrier, and off the side of the ragged mountain. Gah, what a horrid way to die, he sympathized with the driver. The wait while he plunged to his death must be the worst feeling in the world. Just the thought of it caused him to shudder involuntarily. The camera zoomed in on the driver’s seat as the car continued to rocket down the cliff side. The driver’s face could barely be made out, but there was enough light to see the expression on his face. Where he expected a mask of horror and shock to be plastered on, instead he found a serene smile etched on the actor’s weathered features. A smile of calm, of recognition, of acceptance?

Then the television screen went dark, and he grumbled. Now just what sort of ending was that? I should stop watching TV eh chum? It’s getting so brainless nowadays, I’m convinced I must be losing a significant number of braincells. A flick of the remote turned the TV off, and he closed his tired eyes, giving Lumps a back rub. Two hours more, I should think. He continued his wait for Clara.

The shrill screams coming from the infant’s facial orifice were a match for a banshee, but it was music to the ears of the two people in the room. The delivery had been a long drawn ordeal, but surely it must have been worth it. Between them they coddled and cooed to their little bundle of joy- no matter that the red-faced baby probably understood none of it. He looked deep into Clara’s lovely eyes and mouthed: “I love you.” In that instant, nine months of worry and stress vanished from Clara’s face, as she leaned forward to plant a tender kiss on his forehead. She grimaced as she realized the unwiseness of her action, but in that moment- they both felt they were the happiest people in the world.

He woke up a few hours later, stretched, and rubbed his eyes which had crusted over in his nap. There had been no call from Clara, and he was starting to get worried. Maybe her flight had merely been delayed? He tried to placate himself, but was unable to shake off the queasy feeling in the pit of his stomach.

Miserable people bunched up in layers of clothing huddled near the fireplace, trying in vain to escape the bone-deep chill caused by the coldest winter in the last decade. He was dressed in only a simple navy blue shirt with a matching pair of pants, but he could barely feel the cold, for his heart was like a block of ice, numb and unfeeling. Clara stood beside him, and chose that moment to bury a sob in his shoulder. He hugged her close, tears welling up in his own eyes. Excusing themselves, they took leave of their relatives and stepped outside. The couple took a short walk to the local church, Clara’s warm hand never once leaving his own. Going through a few doorways into the backyard, they arrived at their destination. They stood in front of the somber grey stone in silence, heads bowed in prayer. Daniel Murroch. 1984-1996. The phone ringing roused him from his reminiscence. He fumbled with the receiver for a moment before placing it on his ear. He’d been expecting Clara’s lilting voice, but the deep timbre of the voice on the other end of the line obviously didn’t belong to his wife. “Is this Mr Murroch? Its Anderson from the Airport security calling. I’m very sorry to be the one to have to tell you this, but the plane your wife was on was hijacked, and she was shot by one of the hijackers when the special forces stormed the plane. It’s all over now, but she is gravely wounded and requested to see you, sir.” Then Anderson added reluctantly, “Truth is, sir, we aren’t sure if she is going to make it, so you might want to hurry down to see her here at the airport hospital.” There had been no need for any further convincing; he was already turning the car keys in the ignition, rapidly blinking away the unwanted tears. How could this be happening again? It seemed like he was meant to lose everyone he ever loved. He steeled himself and his sedan car sped away into the darkness.

Fifteen minutes later, his car stalled. He cursed in exasperation, and hurried toward the farmhouse across the road. Hearing his predicament, the kindly farmer agreed to see what he could do to fix the car, and even agreed to lend him his own car to get to the airport hospital. Giving the farmer a look of pure gratitude, he buckled himself up, and started up the engine.

After Daniel’s death, Clara seemed to have aged thirty years overnight. They missed their son terribly, and frequently browsed through his worldly possessions, reliving the memories with their youthful, exuberant son. Their love for each other never dwindled, and in fact matured over the years. To their disheartenment, they were unable to produce another child, though not from lack of trying. Thus, they both agreed to get themselves a pet- a poor substitute for a child, but an outlet for their love, nonetheless. That was how Lumps had come into their lives.

He felt more composed as he continued to race down the track. The bumps he felt beneath the tyres told him that it was getting rockier, but he was hard-pressed for time and could ill afford to slow down significantly. He peered ahead anxiously, as the road was getting harder and harder to see; his headlights were fighting a losing battle against the sheer thickness of the gloom around him. It was then he noticed that the farmer’s car was a bright reddish-purple, the fuchsia hued bonnet giving it away. But it barely registered, as his mind was presently occupied with far more pressing issues. The gradient of the road changed gradually, and now it was starting to slope downwards. Subconsciously, his mind started to replay the events of the night, but in a seemingly randomized manner. Small memories bobbed to the surface, only to vanish again an instant later. The phone call, the mug of his favourite Arabic coffee. The way Lumps had stood firmly in the doorway when he was trying to rush out of the house. What had gotten into him? Whimpering and pleading, it seemed as if the dog had been trying to stop him from leaving. The weird TV programme. gee, im so touched by all the advice u all gave me regarding the ~~gay?~~ molester! thanks guys, but i hope it will nv happen again- being molested, i mean. T.T karen i forgot to tell u in sch ytd! i told brenda, and maybe dabai also, but u only came when the meeting abt to start le so didnt get to tell u oops =x i drove geraldine and geoff to NUS today to help me and gillian check out of PGP! finally out of that place, but that also means long travelling hours to sch next sem :/

ANYWAY, yest night, or rather very early this morning, SOMEONE gave me ear cramp!! from housephone-handphone change to handphone-housephone, talk for *so* many hours! my ear not like yours train everynight until its made of steel or what can!! had to keep changing ear cos they were getting cramped!! haha KIDDING only ok : ) will always be there, unless im doing work, or eating, or playing, or reading, or writing, or dun wan talk to you, or... oops, :P

ARGH. i got molested in the bus this morning on the way to the FLV meeting! wth : ( i was in the bus standing infront of the door, when an indian behind me wanted to go out. but instead of saying excuse me or simply tapping my elbow, he had to reach under my arm(holding the bar) and place his palm on my chest. he feel here feel there then said excuse me. WHAT THE SHIT. i almost kicked him off the bus lah! i felt so violated! : (

oh no! ive been sick for the last few days! i must have eaten something that didnt quite agree with me, resulting in severe diarrhea and fever for the last few days! that also means i havent been studying at all! oh well i guess i should just be super thankful it didnt happen on my actual exam days- if not i would have to retake all my modules! ytd i had to rush to the toilet more than 9 times! OUCH T.T

anyway im feeling much better at last, so im gg to do some studying from now till tue i think : ) my bro and sis made a lemon pie yesterday- i think it was excellent! :D some pics coming up!

ss is over! goodbye to the CMIO model, ISI, EOI, MCP, UMNO, PAP!! haha it was an informative module, but i cant say id be happy to retake it next sem if i fail it O.o that leaves GEM tmw (open book whee~!) and MLE next week omg. mle is as good as gone : ( haha glad, karen, mh goi and i all almost chose the same qns to answer, but in the end karen, mh and i decided that 5 was too much work and so changed to 3! somehow i still managed to crap out 17 pages of singapore history in 2 hrs- only qn is the accuracy of my content lol!

oh, that day after lunch i was playing with ~~food~~ my brother and sister, making weird stuff like this yin and yang biscuit lol. made with philadelphia cream cheese and nutella yum! also, a random picture of the sun i took on the way home today :p

geoff bought his new uniform for sec 3 ytd! long pants! something i never got to experience in cat high T.T so he requested i take a pic of him in his new uniform..
i thought it was a nice shot, but geoff saw it and said "u missed the point! i want to see the long pants!" oh well, what can i do about a picky brother? so i took another..
this time, a wordless response from him. being a good sibling, i got his message without him having to say anything! i think he wanted me to include his head as well hmmm..
but that's not all! later in the evening we went to meet my mum's eldest sister and her children who flew in from australia(they live there). after dinner, while i was talking to my engineer cousin(who lectures in some australian uni o.o) geraldine suddenly appeared from the kitchen and i could hardly recognise her!! my mum had simply decided to try her hand at hairstyling! but i think she did a great job : ) if anything geraldine looks even cuter now! lol..
in geraldine's own words, it was like "shearing a sheep" ooh btw u cant see the back, but its very nicely layered! and one last picture, taken today..
oh and zx came over to my house ytd NIGHT (-.-)" to watch me playing computer LOL.

before collecting the results we went to run some errands(my mum, bro, geraldine and i). i went with geoff to collect his new textbooks for nxt yr.. there, not one, but TWO(!) ppl there thought i was in RI!! ie. they think i look like a sec sch kid! yay! the first asked me if i wanted the sec2 average grades sheet, and the second asked me if i wanted to buy my sec 2 textbooks as well O.o"
hmm after that we went to thomson plaza, cos i wanted to chk which signature i used to create my bank account(yes i forgot).. but the bank wasnt open yet =x anyway i took a pic of their cool xmas tree too! haha im like starting a collection! here it is..

quite nice right? at least not as awfully pink as the last one haha.. as u can see, not much activity in the mall so early in the day..

OH! and at result collection i saw this old ahpek wearing flipflops and stuff who shuffled up to ask a ~~redundant~~ question! i thought he looked familiar and he was! my old JC phy tutor for the first 3 months- PANDA YIP!! haha.. perhaps he is just another inexperienced parent, even tho he has been in the education system for so long. when it comes to parenting, everyone starts off as a noob :p

just came back from our mini holiday in leisure farm to celebrate uncle hee's birthday : ) gillian and i had to meet my parents after work in town, but it was raining so heavily that i actually got soaked through IN THE BUS STOP! when we finally got onto the bus (wet and cold)...

yesterday was super fun! dabai gave us a bday dinner treat at hokkaido steamboat, and its located at paradiz.. karen and brenda went to town first to get the shared pressie from us- a pair of birkenstocks.. glad and i came from sch to meet mh and dabai at the clementi interchange. congrats mh! she learnt to brake after only abt 9 driving practical lessons! im convinced that for the last 8 lessons she just banged the car infront as a method of slowing down =x
had lunch at scotts foodcourt (ty mh, old liao i forgot), then we went to change the bday ~~gays~~ boys present cos he wanted another design oops.. passed time at coffee bean while waiting for the movie, and we saw a very manly woman! then the girls decided to shoot dabai *yes!!* and just as i was abt to laugh gleefully to myself, they turned on me(initiated by goinkyB) and blasted away about periods, milk and the like : ( later we watched deathnote at cathay! i think the deathgod is super funny! haha and he only eats apples - . - but still think scoop was the best show ive seen in some time :p
then we met with yh for the dinner treat!! id give it 9/10 for presentation and service, but only 5/10 for the main course =x starters!!
then mh did something hilarious! she lost her few strands of dong1 fen3 in the humongous pot of soup!! here's her looking for it...
ahh.. finally, she found the strands! and started praising herself profusely - . - dredging the few strands of noodles up to safety..

yup! i changed the title of my blog! ive changed skins a number of times already, but this is my first time changing blog address. woke up at 7 am today and was proud of myself cos i webcasted 3 hrs of math lectures on line integrals : ) VT is so much better than ***. then had mle tutorial which was nowhere better than the last few. our tutor is very pro at begging the question. ask him a qn. he will take it, chop and arrange it into a few parts, and give you back in a thousand different forms! the end product is: you dont get an answer to your qn.
on a lighter note, mh crashed GEM tut today! she gave her fren jac a shock, but the tutor didnt even notice he had a new student - . - he even said bye to her when she said byebye! ROFL. today mh wore a slipper that really did its job. it must have slipped off a hundred times! here is the offending slipper listening in singapore studies lect...

today i decided to be hardworking and go for 2 lectures which promised to be disappointing cos the usual witty and funny VT was away- he really is an excellent lecturer. i wasnt disappointed in expecting to be disappointed. basically the lectures were let downs rofl. i spent math lect laughing with weiling and peijie abt the "heeh-er"s and "pohn"s and "die-mehn-tion"s, and GEM lect with wilson, since karen and goi didnt come to sch today. had so much fun writing mh's jap!! whee! she was teaching me to write po-te-to and ha-n ba-a ga-a(hamburger) here is some of what i was doing :p

my self-made tutorial! u can even see the corrections! i guessed mh's name pretty well, but i kept putting "san" behind every name i saw. apparently, its "desu" when referring to yourself. so i changed it..

the highlight of the day was crashing living with chem lect with mh and tk!! we had fun doing everything that one can do in a lecture hall, ~~trying our utmost not to disrupt other people's learning~~ without being too much of a disturbance =x minghui's pui pui...

mh and tk are super funny lah. they even did some boliao things like using my hp as well to send synchronised msgs to louis at the same time - . - lets not forget mh's rolling sweets! they rolled off her table and onto the floor, like somehow cannot stop rolling one. so she picked them up and placed them back into the tube(louis')- sadly, i think he ate them unknowingly =x tk was also doing some flicking of sweet wrappers! im not sure if they landed where she intended them to! oops! :D
oh! and luke's cool program that makes his windows look pirated- in the literal sense!!
once again, the haze simply sucks. the view from engin block, this time...

: ) shall keep this short and sweet. went vivo to try out the new cineplex there.. very nice and spacious, humongous screen. karen, mh, dabai, brenda and i watched the make over of infernal affairs- the departed. the title has little to do with the show. it is quite gd if u like this sorta movie i suppose. not really my type but still had great fun. mh had a lovely time sleeping thru some of it (because the guy infront of her had a damn big head and was blocking her view, she claims). before the show started, we had fun window shopping and oggling Godiva chocolates and anticipating the opening of the candy empire there. i think its quite a lovely place, vivo city^^ the fountain outside the mall...
brenda with her hair let down looks like she can act in the grudge- gave me a real good fright! nearly jumped right out of my skin. mh tried on this cool looking hat thingee, but i shant post the pic cos i dont have her permission :p think she wears it with seh! ha! the haze sucks. its getting worse. this is the view that greeted me this morning...

whee! today was super fun, even tho we had to postpone the kite flying, since too many ppl couldnt make it. good news! gladys passed her grade 8 piano practical examwith merit! well done k!! mandy- can do it too! :D thanks mh and karen for the lovely dinner!! first course of the dinner was yearbooks. i think karen and mh had so much fun looking at all their cathigh frens when they were young, they both laughed until full of air le =x not to forget the unmentionable pri4 pic of someone whom mh terms a chubby hamburger! O.O
2nd course of the dinner was handphone flicking. the 2 of them discovered that my hp makes a little flicking noise, and can be flicked open and closed with the press of a button. flick flick flick! next came the more edible 3rd, 4th and 5th courses...
karen ordered veggies even tho she didnt feel like eating them! thanks : ) so considerate towards mh and i haha :p btw, most photos courtesy of mh ^^ the food tasted wonderful! haha.. after that we went to eat icecream!! banana split : )

mh has also declared mondays MOVIE DAY!! yeah!! looking forward to it! and also she promised to teach me jap writing on mon!! haha.. she even offered to teach me how to introduce myself in jap. the truth is, even if she makes me say: "hello, i am a childish dumb ahpek!" i also wun noe lah! i'll just have to trust her on this i guess! :D thank youuuuuuuuu mh and karen for making my day!

nOoOoO! all my friends are going to contract HBP(except da bai who is already scheduled to live only till 50 cos he already has it but still eats more unhealthily than anyone else) or diabetes, cos i didnt manage to stop them from going crazy in the meiji choco factory today! we spent a total of $250 dollars on tidbits omg. the girls had smiles splitting their faces from ear to ear. each armed herself with a "tiny" basket (its only tiny to THEM cos they persisted in stuffing multiple armloads of food into it!), and went about the shop, virtually SWEEPING THE SHELVES OF CHOCOLATE into their baskets! - . -" no wonder the ahpek at the cashier so happy! with customers like my friends, they will soon be a bigger company than microsoft O.O the car trip was excessively eventful in my opinion.. too much fun isnt good for the (driver's) heart. karen and brenda were trying to persuade me to buy more stuff, recommending what they thought was nice to me. i think they recommended just abt everything in every shelf lah.. mh was the undisputed champion shopper though she claims otherwise. she cheated by passing some stuff to louis, if not she would have spent more than anyone else! mh was also the happiest person alive in singapore today, while she was at the chocolate shop HA. impromptu planning of kite-flying at marina tmw!! :D ahhhh im having sooooo much fun! ^^

i have intense dislike towards fake potatoes!! you know- the type of chinese ahpek who goes ard talking with the super fake, super irritating angmoh accent?? i just saw one on the bus today, and here are some excerpts. i can take it if their accent is passably realistic, but i cant when it sounds like a cow trying to pretend its a ~~kitten~~ horse.
man:"alright then! lets just agree on this shall we? you just send me the technical specifications of the person we are talking about, and that's settled, alright?"
man(sometime later, in an equally horrigible accent:"ok, why not we settle on this. you have so much manpower- you can dedicate some to us right? say, you dedicate two, no, one person to--(person on the other line disagrees) OKAY, then can you at least dedicate half a person (WHAT!?) to us? yup? ok that will be fine, thank you."
like, what the hell! dedicate is the wrong word anyway, and how do u send HALF a delegate to a company for attachment!? zzzz.. im not usually so picky, but then this old ahpek was using such an annoyingly fake accent to converse so loudly on the bus! grrrr...

err halo.. im supposed to be studying, but i cant seem to do so haha.. so here i am blogging. test results are starting to come back and i dont seem to be doing as badly as expected, not that i fully deserve all my grades O.O brenda and i had our first PRU media team meeting today- we are supposed to think up some designs for the upcoming student leaders camp T shirt and banner..
on a sadder note: my reputation is being systematically destroyed! haha even karen's best fren in canada also noes my chou3 shi4 le. qipee pretty much summed it up on karen's blog: if you have mh and karen as friends, u have no reputation. period.
mh was damn funny just now! she wanted to get ppl to watch a horror show with her, and i said its not really the kind of thing i go for, but i dont mind : ) then she said: "don't worry i'll protect you!" wahahah.. okay okay.. i shall go and see just how well she "protects" me. most likely she already has some form of torture in mind hmmmmmm... she probably meant "kill" when she said "protect". i shant explain the title : ) had a simply marvellous time today with the usual gang! we went to eat at Vilage, under heeren- the food is virtually the same as marche lah, just with a different name! i learnt something there.. DONT DONT ever eat the sour plum in the calamansi and sour plum drink! its bloody salty! :p then after that we went shopping for da bai's clothes, understand how he felt though. striped shirts are better than checkered ones anytime, but that one really looked better on him! : )

after that we went to see SCOOP!! its an incredible show- one of the most original ive seen in a long time :) hugh jackman is a great actor, but i found out today he has weird shaped ears! maybe its from all the performances as WOLVERINE! "nah, i NEVER see the glass as half empty- its half full! full of poison!", and "i love you people from the bottom of my heart, with all due respect. you people give credit to your race!" haha woody allen is super hilarious also! i recommend the movie to everyone who hasnt seen it!!

its so good to have friends as lovely as the ones i have^^ here are pics frm our mini mooncake festival celebration at esplanade! featuring the sack( now aka the moon, yue bing), karen( no more moku tou, cos she did *something* to her hair ), mh( still as lovely and demure as ever *coughs* jk! :p ), goi( amazingly not so slow recently- or maybe she just thought she was celebrating mid-autumn fest '05 with us!? :D ) and myself( now known as ahpek.. i think i prefer potato : ( .. ) added on 101006: lesson to be learnt: never praise goi too early!! from feedback received i just realised i left out poor yihan's name! omg! so sorry! but i lagged after i typed goi's name and praised her abt not being so slow anymore! her power has merely grown stronger =x it now affects everyone in a 50km radius O.O
the view from the esplanade rooftop.. we were gg to start here, but the presence of security guards and ~~an insane~~ a loud group of sch girls told us we needed to go someplace else to play sparklers..
so we moved down.. and started preparing our lanterns!! me and dabai were FORCEFULLY allocated PINK lanterns - . - "
finally we get them done.. and take a few pics.. we even had a professional photographer take for us! we made a deal with him: he takes a pic of us for his thingee, and he also takes a pic for us.. win win situation!

hah! just came back from our mini celebration after math test. the test was damn hard lah! they increased the tediousity and depth of the qns but still gave a time limit of 1 hr! crazy.. see how when the results come back lah haha.. karen(with her *ahem* new hair), mh, GoinkyB, the sack and i went to eat dinner and drink bubble tea to celebrate! poor gladys had to go back cos she still had to mug for german and mle tests O.o
we all discovered what a poor liar da bai is! he kept getting found out by the girls =x i shall not say regarding what, to protect privacy^^ we were drinking bubble tea, and it was my first time at sweettalk. didnt noe they dont mix the drink for you. i thot their passion fruit tasted suspiciously like chinese tea. and then i moved lower and almost died when i consumed half the total syrup in a single suck of the big straw - . -" i sorta discovered the hard way that one should always stir the bubble tea before one drinks it.
later we moved in to macs cos there were some idiots smoking alot outside and i was ~~about to beat them up~~ not very comfortable.. then we had fun singing GoinkyB carols!! singing to the tune of xmas carols, cny songs, national day songs, children's day songs.. we are presently even considering recording and compiling our own album of GoinkyB favourites! to order just drop me an sms yeah! :p

oops! i spent so much of today sleeping away (on my pile of books, tutorials and papers!) once again, gayle amazes me hah. i told her abt how much i enjoyed gladys' paying of through the arbor that time, and she decided to self learn it for me! with no score at all, she just listened to the mp3 a couple of times and can now play the entire song. obviously, it is very unpolished and not like grade 8 standard or what- but she hasnt even taken piano lessons since she was in pri sch! haha.. not only that, but she also tried to teach me the song! i am now the proud holder of the title "worst rendition of kevin kern's 'through the arbor' in the world"!! i can play the right hand! badly! but at least u would be able to tell what song i was *attempting* to play, i hope O.O ordered macs delivery for dinner tonight hmmm..

let me tell you- there is virtually nothing better in life than to feel appreciated. thanks to anyone/everyone who has done this for me in the last few weeks/days/hours. it makes it seem like anything can be done, everything can be accomplished, everything is worth it. just the smallest "thanks" can really brighten up one's day. THANK YOU ALL for being such lovely friends/family.. being appreciated puts me on top of the world!!! :D
on a more disturbing note: the kill-the-potatoes society has been getting more and more bold in its initiatives to accomplish their primary objective. they have even been holding discussions RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE! first we have gillian and joyce planning and scheming on how to cook me in flour or something equally heinous, and then we have minghui and karen discussing some methods of torture on karen's blog, and finally the most recent- gladys and geraldine chatting about how they are both evil-and what else they can do to me- on MY MSN (while i was smsing some PRU guy)!!! why do 2 of the schemes so far include 2 of my sisters!! what is this!?

special mention of thanks to karen! dabai!, glad, mh, yihan and brenda for helping me study for the ss test yesterday in one way or another. haha.. people sitting closer to me got asked more qns- so they deserve an "!" lol.. sadly, the studying didnt really help any of us very much : / the test was probably 5% memory work, 85% thinking/application, and 10% just marks lost by default. ie. they say the test is upon 100, but only allow you to score 90 anyway =x i mugged in the library for SIX STRAIGHT HOURS after sch, before the test in the evening, producing this... tada! my own complilation of singapore's post war history, covering the merger and all the communist and racial tension during that period : ) after that we went for dinner at clementi! the cheeko hokkien mee uncle actually thrust the chopsticks at yihan and WINKED at her omg. how gross can.. lucky kel(her bf) only came later and didnt see the incident lol! only yihan and i actually saw it, and mh was nearby but busy, so only found out soon after. met hongjing! who happens to noe ben as well. hmm they tried to bluff me that tang yuans are meatballs - . - im not THAT lousy in chinese am i? O.O

HA! today had lunch with haiping, da bai and gladys! unfortunately for gladys, minghui(the powerhouse) left for some lesson. karen had gone home and brenda was ~~lagging~~ doing some project work some distance away! yihan today also like pon sch... sooooo....
that left poor gladys alone!! : ) suddenly, the sack(da4 bai2) and the potato(no prizes for guessing) had this ESP connection! we decided to turn the tables and take some revenge on one of the gang of 5! haha.. among the many things.. we learnt that *some people* get brain freeze in their right eyebrows when they drink cold fruit juice!! ^.O wahahaha.. here is a pictorial representation of the afternoon's events : )

just returned from accompanying my grandparents, aunts, uncles and parents to a big dinner event at orchird country club. food was not bad, performances were lovely too. what i dont understand is how the waitress managed to top up my mum's glass of warm water with sprite, and my sprite with warm water - . - it makes for a rude surprise, trust me on that O.O

hmm its been a few days since my last entry cos ive been ~~slacking~~ busy!! tutorials and lectures are just endless, and the tests are coming soon! yet i still feel that ive only JUST started school- which IS in a way true, cos it only started what, a month ago?
today was a rainy day, so we(brenda, karen and i) decided *reluctantly* to pon the GEK lect and webcast it instead^^ i mean its really hard to make your way from engin to science faculty in super heavy rain ok! so instead we had a wonderful time chatting with minghui in the engin canteen : ) i have also realised im not just a potato- but a hunted potato =x the arrows are nocked and ready, all aimed at yours truly :p (only the people involved will understand this- plus of course, my ~~sometimes~~ loyal "sack" da4 bai2 ^^)
thur was PRU organised SWEETIE concert at NUS and was also our first time participating in a PRU activity. pretty much like council lah- some ppl organise some ppl do saigang. haha but we all wore black tops with jeans for uniformity, and it was pretty cool. after the event, our mini-PRU gang consisting of MH(the big boss), karen(the spunky), brenda(the ~~slow~~ ~~snail~~ witty), gladys(the newest member of the kill-the-potatoes society, and the one with the evil *grins*), zhihui & friend, and of course not forgetting the protector-of-potatoes, da bai(the sack- every man for himself -.-) went to clementi to eat supper : )
today karen showed me that she can rival MH's "ability" to give instructions to drivers. :p i guess she just wanted to take brenda, gillian and i around clementi, bukit batok and around the west side of singapore just to show us around. "...keep right!... OOPS!.. where is this place?..."
i love doing work. i hate studying. i have a wish. i am quite happy. i am tired. : )

as usual, my parents, relatives and siblings very concerned about what i eat when in hostel- so they like to go shopping for food for me over the weekends. but sometimes even this network of concern can experience miscommunication, as u will see in this case:
they know i like soya bean milk ^^
they know i like milo
they know i like food(well, sometimes)
so they go to shop for me
my mum feels she needs to remind my sisters to get me soya bean milk
she also feels adventurous
she decides to sms them
"...dont forget to get soyB for your brother..."
she is proud that she has made use of a short form- just like we've been telling her to learn
(little does she suspect the result/implications of her text msg) o.o
the next day...

today was moku's bday celebration with my jc class(what's left of it anyway) we got him a *damn exp* watch haha.. kenny danny sim boss moku and i.. happily eating chocolate cake! heh.. i met boss in NUS before gg to NTU(kenny and danny's bunk). the dude is still as guailan as ever, even though he is 1/3 my size - . - he got to meet karen, then brenda and finally gladys when we went to clementi mrt together : ) all 3 love his sense of sarcarsm esp when it comes to me being insulted :/ gladys(ty for the ice cream offer!!^^) is the only one who agrees with me that jiaqiang aka boss aka sialan kia looks and behaves like wen jie! as she put it: with an attitude, but still very nice : ) jess sent me some pics of the day before.. i look crabby O.O and im doing weird stuff.. so dont laugh pls ty! oh, had first ss tutorial today- it was much more fun then i expected : )

Gillian showed me the papers this morning and i got a shock, really. i remembered all those times as a kid when i spent endless hours in front of the gogglebox, watching his crocodile hunting exploits time and again. in a way, he was also lucky while he lived- getting to do what he loved most in the world for a living- he was probably the single man who enjoyed his work most in the world. he is survived by his wife, and 2 children, aged 8 and 3. i feel the same sense of loss (despite not knowing him personally) as i did when mother teresa passed away in 1997. sometimes, the feeling when the world loses a good person is almost palpable. i will miss the croc hunter. i watched and loved his programme because he was fun, enthusiastic, sincere and truly loved the animals he was filming with. my thoughts this night are with the people who also share my sense of loss- and especially with his spouse and offspring.

yesterday after sch i went to meet jess a last time in town before she flies off to the US this sunday. we had a great time, watching Akeelah and the Bee, sharing a meal and alcoholic cocktails(!) at fish and co, taking pictures and just walking around orchard road : ) the show isnt bad : ) and neither was the seafood platter we shared- but im sorry i cant say the same abt the pink guava cocktail jess ordered! we experienced new levels of ~~shittiness~~ crappiness in terms of alcoholic drinks that night. my blue detergent-looking one was infinitely better :p she managed to take a few pics of us in different places doing various stupid things ( or was it just me :p) i will try to post those when i get them from her : ) by the time we finished jalan-jalaning ard orchard rd, it was quite late and deserted alr. most importantly, no more shuttle bus at NUS! so i took a cab from BV MRT =x

jess: thank you for everything u have ever done for me! NO ONE has ever given me as many presents as you have : ) ive had fun with u countless times- whether it was playing pool (with both of us playing, ahem, inconsistently), or watching movies, or even DOTA. and i'll never forget that fateful day one evening a few years back on gunbound ^^ rem to start updating ur blog again when u go to the US! and emails! i cant wait for u to come back next year : ) farewell jess, and meet up with alan if u can! :D

leow zi xiang came to visit me today- after he left i realised that he left his belongings in my room. they consisted of: a handphone, a bunch of keys on a cool keychain, and......... a lollypop. now, i havent the slightest idea why there was a lolly among his prized possessions but there it was- chuppa chupps, no less! :p since his hp was with me i couldnt very well call him to come back now could i? so i did what a good friend would and ran out of my room, took the lift down *eleven* storeys, and sprinted to catch him as he was walking away from PGP. hairy idiot hmph! LOL :D

frankly quite disappointed with myself today. told myself yesterday i was going to do tutorials but ended up not even TOUCHING any work at all. wanted to get jess a goodbye gift before she flew off to the states as well, and myself a new bag. at least i did the non-academic stuff on my to-do list. still, i kept dozing off the moment i thought abt work- i cant allow that to happen tmw. i wont.
my dad is always chatting with me on msn if u can believe it. he likes to ask me where i am, even if he just ate cake with me 5 mins ago, and knows full well im in the next room! haha.. well, glad to see some people still have fun as they get older : )
gladys' songs are growing on me(those she sent me).. im listening to them more and more frequently. i love songs which grow on you, cos they tend to be nicer, almost like unpolished gems hmm.. thanks : )

very tired after alot of driving done today- so i will just go straight to the point. had loads of fun at COMEX today with brenda, karen and gladys! even tho i didnt buy anything, it was interesting to look ard at all the amts of stuff! apaprently xiuwen was there today but i didnt see her at her booth darn haha.. probably was too preoccupied with laughing at gladys buy her laptop cover! she was hilarious, using all means of measuring the laptops ard, just to find the best fit cover. she forgot to take measurements/dimensions of her laptop! haha there was the elbow to start of little finger way, the stretched palm idea and the finger-on-laptop-cover-and-dont-u-dare-touch-me-while-im-with-it-or-else method was the most funky IMO.. she was trying so desperately to keep her finger on the case to make sure she could remember the laptop length! wahahah..
on a side note: brenda and karen were being incredibly evil lah.. insult me all the way to and back from expo.. walao lol.. jk, thanks all for the company today- i really enjoyed myself^^

i forgot to mention the little toilet forum that has been taking place in my residence. its kept active by the scholars on my floor, and takes place ON THE FRONT DOOR OF THE TOILET.
it consists of a chain of post-it pads stuck onto the door, and goes something like this:
i don't know about you guys but our toilet is seriously leaking and im wondering if you all are going to do anything about it.
you bloody coward! can you at least have the decency to put your name at the end of the message so we know who wrote such a thing!
and where, may i ask, is YOUR name?

OH! and just now, as i was on the way up here.. i saw at the landing waiting for the lift- 3 ppl who looked like scholars. some had boxes and some had bags and some just had stuff, but thats not the point! the moment i went there i knew something was wrong- and it took me 1 sec to see what it was exactly. they were all waiting for the lift without pressing the button. - . - so URGH. what are they up to man! one even gave a gasp of surprise when i took a step forward to press it for them(and of course, myself). like i was a saviour of some sort- i guess he was using his brains to figure out why the lift was taking so long eh?
BRENDA GOI had her fun tricking me today.. we spent alot of the day rushing from tutorial to lecture and vice versa, so i had no time to eat lunch and was quite hungry. as such, i took brenda's offer of a gum-looking-edible? candy in SS lect. i thought it looked like gum and so asked her if it was and if it could be eaten, to which she replied: yes its gum, please rem not to swallow it! so i nodded and started paying attention.. 5 mins later(carefully ensuring i didnt bite down on the thing in my mouth) i realised to my extreme horror that the whatever-was-in-my-mouth had gotten significantly smaller! i was mortified that i had just eaten a mouth-load of gum! so i slowly turned my head and told brenda that im afraid the thing is smaller and i think ive eaten some of it. and she just laughed evilly and couldnt contain her giggles - . - apparently it was just HI-CHEW.. some very EDIBLE sweet zzzzzzz..
*unlike the evil brenda, gladys saved me with a much SAFER looking bun, offered in the name of HELPFULNESS and not just to play another trick on me T.T jk.. thanks to both of you i didnt die of starvation on SS lect today : )

been meeting more people from around NUS :p its so fun to find old pri/sec/JC friends! firstly i met kenny yesterday at the central library busstop, with another guy from cat high who's name i unfortunately dont recall =x then when i ate lunch* today at the deck with weiling and gladys, i met aw mei yun! my JC first 3 months class rep- a very capable person indeed. just awhile later saw boon yi di wandering around looking for a place to eat! the guy was from my JC class- highly intelligent(aparently 4th seeded in M'sia for maths o.o) so he joined us at the table for lunch* still at the table i met eugene poh and koh kuan guo, my seniors in sec sch. after lunch* we moved to the library where i met QIHUI! one of my closest buddies in pri sch together with alan! it was always the 2 smallies and the fatty O.O along the way i met kenny again, and while talking to qihui to catch up with old times( this consisted of him mainly teasing me with my old pri sch nicknames only certain priveledged people either know about or found out today, and he sporadically slapped my stomach - . - i seem to remember it being his pri sch hobby :( ) more and more old friends happened to walk past and join in! soon we had teelim (who flew to the USA with me in sec3) and vincent mack(sec sch classmate) joining in as well.. if i didnt have to go, it might well have become some sort of mini cat high alumni session rofl.
this was when karen and brenda walked past and they were disgusted lol.. too many cat high friends is not usually a good thing :p
also discovered alan was having a lovely time hogging my tag brd - . - i typed a reply and there was his just awhile later, all the way from america! it was almost turning my tagbrd into MSN.
i also went to visit leow zi xiang this morning! the vege-hater and one of the most unique ppl i noe. too bad patrick wasnt in the room. on the way out of raffles hall met shaunie! the bugger told me some fib abt joining the subsistence programme- allowance to plant some edible crops outside each bunk - . -"" the worst part is not that its so lame, but that I ACTUALLY BELIEVED HIM! wth.. lol but so did gladys and weiling.. y do ppl like to pull my leg hmm..
lunch* erm, i didnt exactly have lunch per se. gladys and weiling might know more details about that.. : )

gosh! today is a special day. brenda GOI actualy made it to school.. not only on time- but (brace yourselves) was also early!!! thus, i recorded the date and time, for i fear it may never happen again. for those of you who may not know: brenda being early for sch occurs less often than solar eclipses do. in mathematical notation we have:

rapture. thats the feeling u get when u listen to a grade 8(to be) piano player play the piano. thank you gladys for playing the 5 songs for me! i appreciate it so very much- it was simply incredible. brenda got to enjoy some music from her later as well : ) the first 2 she played for me were through the arbor(kevin kern) and cristofori's dream(david lanz).. i wish i could listen to her play every night! but well, THAT really is impossible so i'll just settle for the next best thing which will probably be to listen to her when i can : )
in sincere gratitude: i searched all over the web to get through the arbor as my background song for the blog :) hope u all enjoy it as much as i did. her playing (at least over the net) is as good as this. thanks gladys^^

hahaha.. today i had the car and was super lazy.. found a new parking lot near the engin LT7a(thx ben) so parked there this morning and after an enjoyable EG 1413 tutorial simply drove back to PGP : ) shiok ah the feeling.. later in the afternoon while waiting for the NUSSU PRU welcome tea, so many people came to my mini "room-warming" party LOL. da4 bai2, minghui, karen, brenda and gladys : ) my room so small.. sorry u all had to squeeze on my ~~rock hard~~ bed! later we all went for the Public Relations Unit welcome tea and signed up for it.. seems quite happenning haha.. had dinner at clementi with karen zhiyi gladys and brenda(karen and gladys give v good directions, not like LIM MING HUI!! its not gg to be easy to find anyone who gives worse directions than that crazy girl :P

just blogging a little before my MA1505 lecture which is starting in 20 mins : ) yesterday went to try KGourmet under Prince George's Park Residences(which is where im staying for now) with gillian. its a small eatery owned by outsiders but run by NUS students who want a little more income. anyway its quite affordable and i love their fruit punch($1.50)! i ordered the chicken chop, while she had a fish burger with fries, but we ended up swapping cos the chicken chop was really quite healthy-tasting(bland?) which gillian likes and i dont =x but the fruit punch was good enough(for me, she didnt like it) to make me forget how much i disliked their chicken chop. just a useful piece of information: yesterday at the food court i had the shittiest tasting(and looking) meatball i have ever eaten in my LIFE. but im not certain u wanted to noe that so back to the dinner. while we were waiting for our food to arrive, this incredibly strong charred, burning smell started to permeate the entire restaurant! u should have seen everyone in there, feverently hoping that the smell wasnt coming from their food! i think it was a pizza :P oops ok lecture starting soon.. =x

whee! yesterday was our first OG outing(ty minghui for helping me msg everyone^^- but u didnt come =x) we went to PS to find liruo at the rag day float exhibition and also to celebrate yewlee's bday(belated) thanks for turning up guys!

today was great fun as well.. had a good 2 hr laugh with gladys and fiona after MLE lect- our unglam OG photos plus my european holiday ones.. after that i had to go to the IT Co-op to do something and fiona and gladys had lessons to return to. tmw at 3 am alan will be leaving for the states for almost a whole year! ive been in the same sch as him since pre primary(kindergarten) and known him for only slightly less time. same pre-pri sch, same pri sch, same sec sch, same JC, same army sch, same specialist training sch, and we even live 5 mins from each other. when he leaves tmw, i lose some part of me as well. thanks for being my best friend all these years and i will wait for u to come back with ur degree to be my BEST MAN like we peomised each other so long ago^^ good luck in wisconsin alan, best wishes to you dude! some O Week photos.. enjoy : )
